Getting Good Tone Out of Your SpeakersWhat is it that makes a great guitar tone? I have no clue. I just sometimes get lucky. I think it is a combination of things. The guitar, the pickups, the amp, effects, the strings and most of all the player. I found a great article which covers this very topic. It's mostly covering speakers in your amp. But they also discuss quite a few other things. Give it a read, lots of good information. If after reading this article, and you still cannot get a good guitar tone...don't ask me, I'm still looking too.
