This is a video created by Boss to demo the BR-600. It's only 5 minutes long so it doesn't get too in depth. It covers the basic features and functions of the BR-600. They show you the basics of recording a song on the BR-600. The demo actually does a good job of making it look very simple and fun. Kind of makes me want to buy a BR-600!!

This is a nice video that shows you how to fatten up your guitar tracks in Pro Tools. This was produced by Berklee Music. They show you whow to double tracks and add layers of compression in Pro Tools.

I have an O'hagan Flying V guitar that I purchased new in the 80's from a local music store. This guitar
is neatly mint, wondering if you have any idea of it's value?

I've never seen another one like it - silverburst finish - has a Kahler type tremolo system that I don't believe
is original.

Any info you can supply on this O'Hagan guitar would be appreciated. Thanks much.

I found this cool video online. Doesn't have much to do with home studio recording. But I thought some of my fellow musicians could appreciate the talent this guy has. Wow. Some mad skills. Check out the video here: http://www.vidzest.com/media/196/Thea_Most_Amazing_Drum_Solo_Ever_to_Exi...

I've been noticing recently that cassette tapes, still sealed in their original packaging are very collectible. People are paying good money for these. Some items are going for over a hundred bucks. Wow. Wish I had saved some of mine instead of taping albums on them. I have tons of cassettes, but they all have been used and aren't in their original shrinkwrap. But who knows, maybe these will be worth some money in the future. Gotta love ebay!

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with volume control after you bounce a series of track? For example- I laid down my drum tracks on tracks 1-7 and then set the volume levels, then bounced. When I recorded the next set of tracks and adjusted the volume, the volume from the drum track adjusted. I thought after a track was bounced it was pretty much set. Is there something I am missing? What ever help anyone can give will be greatly appreciate. Thanks!!!!!!

We have just launched a new online service for music producers and singers, and I believe it's the first of it's kind.

VocalTuning allows producers to send their vocal files and get them sent back perfectly tuned. We can take any vocalist (even someone who is completely tone deaf) and make them sound like a strong singer.
Up until now, music producers have had to do all the tuning work themselves with software like Auto-Tune and Melodyne. The site offers a new approach where people can literally send a file to us and get it back perfectly tuned within 24 hours.

I’m sure a lot of Home Studio Tips readers would find this an interesting feature, especially those who produce music themselves.
