Have you ever been working in Pro Tools and wondered what the shortcut was for creating a new track? Or you are in Photoshop designing your latest CD cover and you forgot how to create a new layer?

I stumbled across a cool website this morning, it's called Editors Keys.  They sell keyboard sets, which are essentially just little stickers you put on the keys of your keyboard which tell you shortcuts, key combinations, etc. The cool thing about Editors Keys is it puts all of the menu items and shortcuts right at your fingertips. No more reaching for the Pro Tools book to look stuff up.

They also sell sets for:

• Sonar

If you use Pro Tools, Cubase or Sonar, you know how many shortcuts and key combinations there are. For instance, everytime I use Pro Tools and I mess up while recording a track I have to use Ctrl-. to get rid of the unwanted track. I don't know how many times I've had to grab the Pro Tools book to look this up.

These Pro Tools Editors Keys may not be life changing information, but it does look like a cool way to speed up music production in the home studio.
