Pro Tools Favorite Plugins

Todd Fugere's picture

If you have plugins that you use all the time you can add them to your favorites in Pro Tools. I know that I have a giant list of plugins and can often get lost in that list, so favorites is very cool and handy.

What you have to do is click on inserts like you are going to add a plugin to a track. Then instead of clicking on the plugin, hold down the ctrl key (command on Mac) and select the plugin. Once you ctrl select the plugin, it will be added to the favorites list. Which will appear above all of your current plugin categories.

You can also de-favorite the plugin by ctrl-clicking on the plugin in the favorites list.

Nice little Pro Tools tip to save you some time, check it out!
