Vox created the amPlug, a headphone guitar amp that lets you enjoy serious guitar sound. Just plug Amplug into your guitar and play. The Vox amPlug is available in three different sound styles: Vox AC30, Classic Rock and Metal. amPlug comes with an AUX Jack that lets you play along with your MP3 player. You can get up to 15 hours of battery life with two AAA batteries.

I just got one.

I'm not sure if these have shipped yet, but I work at a distributor and we were having a demo today (I got to play a Vox Virage today.) But the guy who was showing us the products sold me a Vox Amplug AC30 (I have an AC30CC2X) for less than cost to my employer.

Vox Virage

Couple of questions for you... Is the Vox amplug really worth it? Any better then just plugging into my Korg Pandora PX4 on AC30 amp selection, with earphones?
Question number 2: What did you think of the Vox Virage. I won an eBay promotional auction, and got to buy one for $1500. Are they anything special or just hype? I'm trying to get them to send me a black (single cut). The in the auction was red, but i thought the black looked a little cooler.
Thanks,
Al
